WELCOME TO THE COBOURG DRAGON BOAT & CANOE CLUB

NOTE: DUE TO THE WATERFRONT FESTIVAL AND CANADA, 1ST WEEK OF CAMP WILL BE A SHORT WEEK (3 DAYS WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY). COST WILL BE $120 FOR THE SHORT WEEK

Registration for all programs including summer camp, dragon boat, adult/family recreational paddling, youth canoe kayak competitive program, and masters paddling opens March 1st, 2025. Register early so as not to be disappointed!

 

The following Summer Camps are FULL. New Registrations for these weeks will be on a wait list.

July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-Aug 1,  August 11-15,  August 18-22.

The CDBCC is a not-for-profit youth & adult sports organization that heavily relies on the generousity of its community partners. This year we are asking local businesses and community partners to provide financial assistance to help purchase a variety of needed equipment and supplies. By donating to this very worthwhile cause the CDBCC can continue its mandate to provide high quality programming to both youth and adults in our community at the lowest possible cost. The only way we can continue to do so is through financial donations to help offset the cost of operating our various programs.

Below is the sponsorship letter and contract form for your perusal:

This year we are in desperate need to replace our aging sprint kayak boat fleet (5 boats at an approximate cost of $22,000.00) and various camp sports equipment and supplies. 

By sponsoring the CDBCC your business will receive many benefits:

• A tax receipt for your organization
• A media blast through our social media accounts thanking your business along with your logo and link  to your webpage
• A 1 foot by 3 foot vinyl banner attached to our camp compound fence with your company name and logo thanking you as a sponsor
• The opportunity to have your company logo screened or as a sticker one the items that your company help to purchase
• For larger donations we can create an individualized sponsorship benefits package that suits your company's needs

Our Vision

• Dragon boating will be a flourishing, safe, and affordable participant aquatic sport for people of all ages in Northumberland County
• The CDBCC seeks to be highly regarded within the community as an active, strong, and successful operation which encourages both competition and recreational participation in the sport of dragon boating, sprint kayaking & canoeing
• The CDBCC will offer diverse training and skills development at all levels
• To operate a recreational & competitive youth program teaching the necessary skills in a fun learning environment
